About This Blog

This blog came about for several reasons. The first is that we have children with food allergies, including dairy, eggs, and peanuts. The second is that we are originally born and bred in Louisiana, home of delicious cuisine...and that means I was born to cook and LOVE to eat, but me sha dat foods gotta be good yea! Lastly, we have developed a passion for eating clean. We are removing chemicals, avoiding processed foods, eating lots of plants as close to how GOD gave them to us, focusing on organic meats, and adding lots of healthy grains. Yet, as I searched for recipe ideas, I always found that those three main things (Allergen-free, yummy, and clean), in combination, were HARD to find!! These recipes are born of trial and error, and added once I find success (and when I have a wee bit of time to sit at the computer for a moment while taking care of my precious children!). Enjoy the food, and laissez les bon temps rouler!
